In December 2025 my husband passed away suddenly. After the initial shock, I gathered all my strength to go arrange the funeral. Together with my daughters I entered the office of the Sommer company, where we were welcomed by a kind lady – Mrs. Kuncová. She was very empathetic and guided us through the entire process of the final farewell in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. She explained the advantages and disadvantages of various individual decisions and allowed us to calmly choose the best options. We left with smiles on our faces, happy that we had managed to take care of such a sad matter in such a peaceful way.

During the farewell ceremony itself, all the employees of the Sommer company were equally empathetic. Everything was prepared exactly as agreed. They were ready to accommodate any of our additional wishes so that the ceremony would proceed smoothly according to our ideas. The behavior of all the employees of the Sommer company was very professional and dignified. They do not consider their work to be “just” the exemplary handling of a business matter, but also as offering a helping hand to people going through a difficult life situation.

The first thing you need to arrange is the final farewell to the deceased. I approached Sommer Funeral Services. On Sunday at noon, I contacted this service by phone. A very pleasant and kind lady answered the call. From her voice, I could hear great understanding and genuine willingness to help the bereaved, who may not be able to speak through the flow of tears. The following day, I visited Sommer Funeral Services. Mrs. Urbanová, who assisted me, was very helpful, pleasant, and kind. Her sensitive approach, understanding, and professionalism cannot be expressed in words. She dedicated a significant amount of time to me in selecting everything necessary, and at the same time, I felt great support, calmness, and understanding from her not only during the funeral service but also throughout the entire process until the day of the funeral. The flowers, wreaths, and bouquets were all beautifully coordinated, and I left the funeral service very satisfied. I owe a big thank you to this lady for everything she did for me. A big thank you also goes to Mr. Sommer, the owner, and his employees. On the day of the funeral, they arranged the transportation of the deceased from Říčany to Chýnov u Tábor, and they also took care of decorating the chapel. The professional handling, including the conduct of the entire funeral service in the chapel and the subsequent burial, was carried out with great dignity towards the deceased and thus provided great comfort to the mourners. The final farewell to my mother, which you arranged, took place just as my mother would have wished for. For that, I thank all of you. Thank you for the great support and cooperation you provided until the last day of the funeral. 

Dear Mrs. Sommerová, I would like to thank you once again for your help and professional approach in arranging the final farewell to our beloved brother and brother-in-law, who tragically left us at an age when life should be enjoyed.
